Rolly’s Records is an independent record shop selling second-hand vinyl albums, 45s and 12” singles
We have records across all genres, mostly rock and pop but also country, jazz, swing, reggae and classical. All in all we have over 2,500 items for sale plus a bargain basement and a rarities/collectors section.
We are located in Felpham village, just a short walk from the beach, and we opened for business on 1st July 2021.
Our ethos is simple: we’re here to have fun and help our customers have some fun.
Since opening we have also raised money for charity via raffles, donations and our charity bin as well as our regular weekly ‘All Request Friday’; for a small donation every Friday, we will play any request, assuming we have it of course.
One of our main aims is to reconnect people with music; there’s nothing quite like listening to a record while reading the sleeve notes, lyrics or credits. Music can lift the spirits, make you dance, make you sing, put a smile on your face and spread good vibes.
There is music for every mood and we’re more than happy for people to come to the shop without feeling any pressure to buy anything, just browse through our collection, listen to some tunes and leave with a skip in their step.

We are constantly looking for new stock so if you have any unwanted records, if you’re clearing out that loft or garage or if you’re downsizing or need more space, please get in touch. Typically when we receive stock, we spend time pricing it up and looking at each item for condition before making an offer and depending on the quantity this can take between one and two weeks. We aim to pay prices which are fair to both the seller and ourselves.
When it comes to selling our records we first establish the condition of both the vinyl itself and the cover and set our prices accordingly using various industry standard catalogues and databases. Our prices rarely get challenged so we must be doing something right but we are always open to customers making sensible offers
Finally as we’re unable to listen to all our records to ensure they play well, we offer a no quibbles returns policy: any problems at all and we’ll refund the money
