It’s Movember

So here we are in November and our October Budget-busting sale has ended; not sure it wholly served its purpose but we tried. Rachel Reeves has now delivered her Budget and we await the tsunami of customers who will save up the gob-smacking 1p reduction in a pint of beer and spend it buying records. Just 500 pints of beer will mean you can buy a £5 record effectively for nothing; or perhaps just have a free pint, the choice is yours

And November means Movember of course and so by virtue of an attempt to grow a Ronald Colman style moustache we hope to raise some money for this worthy cause helping men affected by mental health issues and prostate and testicular cancer. Nothing formal but if you come in the shop, feel free to snigger and guffaw at the fluff on my top lip whilst placing a few pennies in the charity tin
